Oh Cha is a contemporary tea brand that launched in July 2017. It is marketed as a brand for luxury gift sets, and interesting flavour combinations rooted in Indian traditions. Their products come in various ranges - the Classic Collection, the Dessert Collection, Healthy Teas Collection, Alcohol Inspired Teas and so on.

Branding Extension

The Oh Cha logo is a simple line drawing of a kettle and a leaf. We used parts of the logo to create pattern extensions that could be used in a variety of ways on the packaging and other brand collaterals. These patterns were consciously made to have an Indian aesthetic so as to amplify the fact that Oh Cha helms from India.




Packaging

Each collection has its own vibe, to showcase what's most important to it:

The classic collection was Oh Cha's first launch. It used the patterns we created as brand extensions, accompanied by simple illustrations. This look became the identifier for Oh Cha as a brand, and we build every subsequent collection from it.
The dessert collection packaging is Inspired by the swirls of icing. This collection aims to bring forth the feeling of eating decadent dessert while sipping on these deliciously flavoured teas. All the pleasure, none of the guilt!
The health teas were in tea bag format. The boxes for these showcased quirky cups coupled with all the ingredients that made the health teas, well - healthy! Our favourite part of this collection was the back of the box. We made beautiful illustrations for each ingredient outlining why it was helpful, and what benefits one could except from it. This was recieved extremely well by the audiences, making the health teas one of Oh Cha's most successful ranges.
